Neighbour's chooks have destroyed my veggie garden

I let my chickens out daily and yes they scratch up the garden but not the more established plants. My strawberries and lettuces all get covered with netting and that is all sorted. Not so worried about the flowers as I love getting fresh eggs so there has to be a little give and take on my part. I only have 3 and couldn't stand anymore than that.

Update: Late last week my neighbour apologised for her attitude towards me and said she had arranged for someone to come and fix the chook run. Today I heard hammering, so I hope the problem has been solved at long last. I am grateful to you all for your comments, even the naughty ones! I needed comfort and support and you were there for me!
