For an electronic bidet seat you might need an electrician for the power to it, unless you have a convenient power outlet close enough. No plumber needed, you just splice a T fitting into the water supply to the tank for the sprayer. Otherwise installation is unbolting the old seat, bolting on the new one. Just need to confirm it's compatible with your toilet first.

Thank you ira, this is what I'm looking at getting now.

Nah you def need a licensed plumber to do anything to the water supply. Plumb it up wrong and you could get backflow into the public system - that's why there are rules.

Or you could just follow the instructions and install the check valve that's usually included as the instructions say. But, yes, if you're not competent enough to do that you probably should pay a professional to do it.

My toilets seat was purchased for $50 or $60 at MM10. It is multi fit with soft close, important for littlies, but the best part is the button on the back under the seat. One push and the lot lifts off for very easy cleaning, so hygenic. I love it.
