I have extended my deck ( doubled in size) the old deck paint is still in goid condition. Have tried water blasting with our 1800psi home water blaster but the paint wont budge.
I am thinking if a got a higher psi then i may have better luck. Does anyone no if this works and how high a psi i would need.
I want to remove the paint so i can stain it. I don't like the browny red paint.

Probably damage the timber with higher pressure . Try a non toxic paint stripper .

Water given a certain pressure will cut steel Now if your paint is in good cond why not lightly sand it and new coat / colour over it

I’ve got a very high powered waterblaster. It would rip your deck to bits . Sand it!
