Nice. I remember from my childhood my Dad helping with an estate sale and this person had a Hoya plant in their large greenhouse, entwined up the support post and along the roof. It was amazing!.

I do as well and have just potted up an 'off-shoot' so hope it comes along well. My old one used to be my mum's so I'm espcially pleased that it still flowers.

My Hoya is over 50years old, it belonged to my Grandmother, has been split into 2 plants and still flowers every year.

Hoya are very long lasting. The one most people will know is Hoya carnosa but there are many interesting Hoya with lovely flowers - H. fusca, for instance, has deep red, almost black, flowers, while H. bella is a small type with pretty white flowers that grow in a flat spray (ie, not in a ball). This website is good fun: http://www.international-hoya.org/
