Any suggestions on how to rid my feijoa plants from bronze beetle? Blasted things are having a field day on the leaves and I'm keen to make them disappear.

probably too late to answer this question now, it was posted a while ago, but I do have an answer for you. We believe the beetles hatch in the soil, and crawl up when they're ready to do so. We don't have them where we are now, but at one time they were the very devil. We bought some powder that we sprinkled on the ground. I believe it was early spring, so you'll have to wait now till next year, well, September anyway. Good luck

I have 25 chickens who roam that area so have that pretty well covered I would think. I have started to crush them as it doesn't seem anyone I've spoken to thus far has a solution. When I have time and I remember to, I must go to a garden center and have a chat with the staff to see if they can help.
