For an evergreen plant to grow to cover a tree stump. Must be hardy as we do have some frost and would like something that flowers. Stump is approx. 30cm high.

plant anything you like and put it in a pot which can sit on the stump.

The native Clematis. can't remember if it loses it's leaves or not though

Hebes, Low growing Camellia, Fancy small growing manuka such as Wiri Kerry, Nanum Tui, Nanum Kiwi. You could go for a coprosma with coloured leaves for year round interest such as Copr. Yvonne, C. winter chocolate,
