I thought so to but Puriri have smooth edges.

puriri seedlings can often have serrated edges. The clusters of leaves, like fingers on a hand, are a dead giveaway. My money is on puriri.

Could be a coffee plant

I know the feeling.I planted what I thought was a Baby Rhody many yrs ago.
Now it is a 30ft + Putakawa tree that houses a couple of Tui.
Brings to mind. One night in the early hours of the morn, new Neighbor knocks on my door. He was quite intoxicated by the way. He proceeds to introduce Himself and then asks if He could cut my Putakawa tree down. I said sure you can but you have to get rid of all the wood.
Never saw him again and my Tui are still happily singing away.
