Would love to hear any bright ideas on how to get rid of paint stink. It's water-based paint and I've tried chopped onions, sliced lemons, vanilla,white vinegar, combos thereof and letting the drawers bask in sunshine - the stink's as fresh as it was on day one, 3-4 weeks ago. Lesson learnt . thanks.

cut onions in half and in a bowl of water worked for me, water and oil based paints, also try baking soda on its own

Ah! Baking soda . no I've not tried baking soda . thanks trigger :) I'll give it a whirl.

something in a tin from mitre 10 . don't remember. the inside of the drawers just don't get any airflow, and that's where clothes are huddled into.
