Where is the best position to plant a daphne bush please. I have tried to grow these in past but with no luck so am thinking maybe if I put it in a pot and put it in the right place I may be lucky. :)
like the cool i have mine under tall trees but have seen some i full sun

Mine is facing south under eaves beside house, it is huge and is now 12 years old, but I do have a tall fence opposite it so it does not get to much wind.

Daphne like a sheltered, part shade position with quite good soil.

Definitely a shady ,cool position.Also they do not like to be moved.

There is a new strain of Daphne the name of which escapes me, but it is more hardy than most and can be planted in many places.Perhaps ask at a nursery as they will know what it is called. I think it is called Perfume Princess.
