I am having my first go at growing tomatoes in a glasshouse and I see2 potential problems arising. Some plants the leaves are getting white patches on them and also there are little white bugs appearing. Any ideas please, and what should I do about them? TIA.

OK , What do I use? would this be the cause of both problems? I have been trying to upload photos, but it seems to be beyond me.

Yes, I think white fly too - could the "white patches" be clusters of eggs? Many years ago husband and I grew hothouse tomatoes commercially and the white fly was a pest, to say the least. I think (from memory) they need spraying three times, as they have three life phases. but that was back then and probably today there are different sprays available. Best thing to do is ask in a plant shop about sprays.

Try growing nasturtiums under the tomato plants - they repel white fly and aphids. It works well for me.
