Advice sought from lawn gurus

I have a new (2 months old) 45m2 lawn. Assuming the correct times and dosages, it is OK use Scotts lawn builder and, Turfix as the same time?

Thanks.

I would not be using Turfix on such a young lawn, particularly as it will not be growing very fast in the cooler weather. You have plenty of time to deal with the weeds a bit further down the track. I would be careful of using fert as well unless in reduced dosages. It is probably too cold for the grass to get any real benefit. These problems can all be dealt to as the warm weather returns and the grass starts to grow. Weeds can also be managed to some extent by good mowing practice, not mowing too short.

above advice is good.
Don't use Turfix until spring - ideally once grass is 6 months old.
The new Tui Lawn Force is better than Scotts. Get the young/repair version.

Thank you for the advice. Yates and Tui have responded to my enquiries with the same advice. I was following the instructions from my lawn installer, but maybe they were standard instructions, not to be followed in winter.
