a garden tool that is about the size of a garden spade it has a claw like base and handle on the top that you twist. You stab the weed and twist, this loosens the weed and makes it easy to get out. I don't know what it is called, I had one and it has been stolen been to a lot of the shops and can't find one.

I know exactly what you mean, but I can't remember the name of them, either. I am a frequenter of garden shops & I can't recall seeing any lately. Maybe an op shop or the likes?
