When is the best time. I notice some of my new acquisitions are sprouting. I live north of Auckland, so could get one or two more frosts.

Now would be a good time but you may need some frost protection temporarily. Do not leave it too long. Did not think you had frost in tropical Auckland lol

I usually wait till they start sprouting but watch the frost.

This year has been the worst for frost that I remember. It has burnt off plants I've never seen damaged before. The kikuyu grass usually takes a thrashing, but this year it's clobbered things like plumbago and tecomanthe.
