This is a tree which has been around since the jurassic period. They are very slow growing and believe to grow up to 1000 years. If your friend is planning to take it out, be sure to list it on here, or at least sell it. Please don't just rubbish it.

I think the thousands of people who have these in their garden have no concerns if it is toxic. Very popular plants at the moment. Also, your friends one is a female.

Yes a lovely Sago Palm.I had a beautifull one that got stolen out of my garden, and have not replaced it.worth $$$$$ the bigger they get, and as somebody has already said, the dinosaurs would have recognised it

Very big dollars to the right buyer. I'd leave it in place and let the buyer remove it.
