There is a request on neighbourly from someone who would like to get snowball flowers for the grandchildren to place on their beloved grandmothers casket at her funeral this week coming. I wish I had some to help her out. Does anyone know if it is the time when they are in full bloom?. Thanks.

Mine come out around the last week of October - they are still showing a little green at the moment but they are almost there. The bush is called viberna opulus sterile. Unfortunately I have found that the blooms do not last very long after they have been cut from the branch.

Just had a look at mine and yes, the flowers are still green on this one too. As above poster said, usually the last week of October before any in full bloom and they droop very quickly. Sorry can't help. Capricorngirl
