Being a gardener by name and by nature I plant weird seeds and sticks and sometimes they grow. This bunch of deciduous leafy things came up again third or fourth year from seed I suspect, but in the move the label went west and I have no idea what they are. I'm thinking unusual fruiting thing, could it be persimmon do you think? Because if they are I'll pot on, otherwise I might tip - I need the bin!

Not persimmon or fig. Might be cherry? Hard to tell . Can you post another photo further away to see the whole thing

Don't think it's dogwood - I only collect plants I haven't had, and that species was Taupo, lol. Definitely not fig or cherry.
It may just remain my 'Mystery Trees'. I'm considering bonsai. Small is good.

Cape Gooseberry?

Some of the leaves look similar to a Katsura, need to be more heart-shaped though.

Has fuzzyish blue green leaves, so not this one.

Oh wow - I wish! Those are wonderful!

Nope, I think I'm going to have to plant these out and just see what happens. All will be revealed if I live long enough!

Thanks everyone.
