As soon as I open the back door or some of my windows a pigeon comes in and steals cat biscuits. I cannot bring myself to harm the pigeon but wondered about catching it and relocating it a few kilometers away. Surely it would not come back.

Have seen a blackbird doing the same but using a garage door for access. Providing your visitor does not leave poops on the floor just be kind and leave a little out to share!

But it does, splodges everywhere. Used to feed them but they started arriving in the hundreds.

Shoot it. They are flying rats. Pigeon pie is rather tasty. You won't get rid of it otherwise, it will come back.

Hang some plastic bird netting over your door or window and it will catch itself, dispatch it and hang it up where other birds can see it, they, ll soon get the message.
