i want to convert to gas . to my knowledge ill need a califont. and new pipes?. what exactly is the list i will need? running just the normal washhouse, kitchen, bathroom basin taps.shower/bath

You won't need any thing,the gas man will bring it all. Gas work is highly regulated job and only can be done by the man with the big $ gas ticket.Don't even think of D.I.Y or it may be BOOM time for you.

More so going to gather everything that is required plumbing wise to do job. will only be putting in the bathroom.perhaps put mixers in place.is it a mains pressure type to be searching for. ?

You may need to change your shower mixer. Your other taps should be ok; and yes, mains pressure.
