Bathroom Mirrors

Hey everyone, this has been wrecking my mind for ages.I cannot decide what kind of mirror to get for my small bathroom.
Unfortunately the vanity basin is right below the bathroom window so the mirror cannot be put there. But only to the right of it,on the wall.
Ideally I would want a cabinet mirror but unfortunately it would protude enough to block full usage of the vanity.
But.is a fixed on (with screw thingys) mirror or glued on mirror better and what shape!
I can take a picture of the bathroom if it would help.Just got to find how you guys upload it to trademe.

Cheers.

I created a cabinet with white meltica panels and a serratone back and recessed it into the wall framing, the total depth of the cabinet is 90mm and protrudes from the wall 5mm, the door is a meltica panel with a mirror glued to the surface with polished edges so no surround is required, the end result is a mirror on the wall with a hidden cabinet, there is no handle to open the cabinet, you can get your fingertips under the edge of the door panel, the cabinet is 470mm wide x 570mm high and the door and mirror is 500mm wide x 600mm high so the overhang hides the cabinet

Wow that's awesome stuff.was it easy to do!That is quite an awesome idea what you did, solves two problems at once!

If you are adding it to an existing room it could be awkward because timber will need to be installed in the wall to carry the cabinet, the cabinet itself was easy to make, I used pre-finished shelving panels from Placemakers and cut them down then screwed them together, the back was the old lining from my shower which I had removed when renovating my bathroom, if you are looking at doing this I could post some photo's for you, let me know but it won't be until tomorrow night

I use a large mirror that is screwed on. it looks better when you walk into the bathroom if mirror is on the wall you "walk down" as it doesnt protrude off the wall.you just need to be careful that you dont over tighten the screws or you can crack the glass

I have a similar situation and plan to install a cabinet on the wall with an extra mirror on the inside of the door - that will then be in front of the window when (cabinet door) opened.

Thanks everyone for the replies.Easygoer,if you got any photos,I would love to see them:) I wish I had the skills to do what you did because I like it.
Yeah Nitronz, that's what I was thinking.I admit I have not checked out screwed on mirrors.I got a different one that has a screw sorta hook thing, the hook latches onto the back of the mirror. But once installed the mirror would be facing downwards at a small angle.
Another good idea Amasser, thanks so much:)

Thanks easygoer and wow, what a wonderful job you did there! *jealous* lol
I think i'll use a temporary mirror for now and when I get enough finances,I'll get a builder to do that for me.What an awesome use of space!:)
