one is about the size of a softball the other a bit smaller. will they amount to anything or is it too late now!

there should be another 3wks of summer night temps, so let them keep growing, funny how some did well in this hot spell and other species didnt. for me no chokos but I spy some very nice shaped pumpkin in the mound of weeds

They should do ok. Make sure you give them plenty of water.

I have 6 plants all vines everywhere and smothered in flowers,noticed yesterday i have a melon whoop pee ! Finally its about the size of a courgette, i sure hope it ammouts to something ediable ! my kids have been watching it like hawkes :)

Actually have you ever tried growing honey dew melons! [the green ones] I grew some 2 summers agoin my tunnel house & we got quite a few - they were about the size of a softball & were quite nice. I live south so I don't think I'd have any success with watermelon, unless it was undercover.
