Lots of good protien in there, as well as trace minerals and other goodies.And yes - the yolks in our eggs are such a deep yellow that Hubby accuses me of adding food colouring to his scrambled eggs.

I recall Comfrey getting bad press a few years ago .a guy died from eating it & it turned out that Comfrey was ALL that he was eating, the dork!

Its also mistaken for foxglove which of course has digitalis. a heart slower downer, funny how hundreds of folk die from smoking but its never given the bad press. some dorkdoes a herb, so it needs to be eliminated.

cactus7 my hens don't need comfrey to sh.t they are really good at that! I'm looking forward to making a batch of comfrey fertiliser for my vege garden! Do you pretty much topdress everything!

The old name for it was Knitbone- they also used it for poultices forhorses
