Need to buy new Secateurs(sp)

samsnan, Feb 12, 4:02am
What brand would be the best to buy! I have had Fiskars but they seem to go blunt very quickly. I am happy to pay well for a good product. TIA

Stainless steel McGregors from the warehouse, guaranteed 5 years or pay $40 for Wilkinsons elsewhere.

I sharpen my secateurs before every time I use them.

+ 1 here for Felco. Love mine, they're like an extension of my hand in the garden. They are a better price if you purchase online from somewhere like the big river website.

I use secateurs a lot with my job and at home, and to be quite honest the most comfertable and sharp (so far) have been some i got from the warehouse, they were $20 and dark and lime green handle - may hsve been McGregors, I've had them about 5 months and so far they are doing really really well

I spent a whole $20 on a pair of middle of the road ones about 15 years ago, they're still like brand new.they were chinese ones lol!
