We are looking to replace our salt chlorinator can you recommend a brand and/or alternative system that you are happy with.

We have recentlly bought a place with a salt water pool. Had to replace the salt cell as unbeknown to us it wasnt working. do you mind me asking why you want to change systems!Just wondering how long our new cell might last!

Ours is a poolrite system and still working perfectly after 10 years. They are a bit dearer but if you buy cheap brands they may only last half that time.
When we need to replace ours I will purchase from Australia as they are about one third the price (including freight). Unfortunately like many things, NZ retailers unjustifiably screw the customer with exorbitantly inflated prices. That is why more and more people are buying direct from overseas

We also have a Poolrite, first one lasted 7yrs the second 1yr! Love the salt option just looking at all options as have to buy another.Bioniser/ionisers proclaim all sorts of benefits But don't know anyone with one!
