I dunno, but I've got it (along with a truckload of others) in my lawn too. Bloo*y stuff spreads everywhere!

looks like pennyroyal to me.I love it in the lawn because it smells so lovely when you're mowing.

If it's got a nice minty smell it's pennyroyal, if not it's probably bugleweed (ajuga)

Be a bit wary of pennyroyal if you think of using it as a mint - it has some serious side effects on human hormone systems - but I'm with ricp, it looks like an ajuga variant to me from that flower/seed head
