If you have instantaneous gas, you have mains pressure.

I meant, for water heating - you have a unit on an outside wall.

Yea we do have two units

They work on mains pressure, so that's what you have.

Polybutylene? Polyethylene? What sort of pipe do you mean?

Dux Qest (not spelled with a u) brand polybutylene. The worst parts are the connectors but the pipe also splits. Apparently after it was taken off the market a lot of original owners got compensation but didn't put the money into replacing it.

If its something like this http://www.palomanz.co.nz/water_heaters.cfm?product_id=1063 then you will have mains pressure hot water. As for your new shower let your plumber sort out what sort of fittings you need. That way it should all work properly rather than a hit and miss of selecting stuff you happen to like the look of.

Probably not galvanised.

Yea thats what I have outside. & I dont care what the mixers look like just want it to be practical and not leak. Hence why im getting a plumber to do it.
