Kitchen sink replacement

bruceakld, Aug 17, 4:01pm
We want to replace our old kitchen sink with a new one (same size as the old one), a new fancy mixer tap and a new waste-disposal.
Would a plumber take out the old ones and install the new things?
Or do I need a handyman/builder person?

Most of the work is plumbing work and you would have to see how the plumber feels about replacing the drainer. He may have a joiner he works with who would do it. Replacing the sink should be relatively easy but often with those kind of jobs when you get the old one out you find a problem fitting the new,and that's when the swearing starts.

Plumber. Husband always did that sort of thing.

Can you be sure that your new sink is exactly the same size as the old one? Whats the bench made of? Is it a top mount or undermount?
