can you get a close up of the leaves, there is a lot going on in that pic, lots of clover, but flower not right for that and it is not chickweed. However a good turf spray should sort it anyway.

Close up of leaves. It's definitely not clover and doesn't look like the chickweed. It's somewhat trailing. Just coming into flower, a tiny white flower with 5 petals. Thanks.

Just checked, it’s chickweed. There’s two, cerastium glomeratum or Stellaria media, this looks just like cerastium chickweed

google chickweed and see it is love s cool damp so will die off in the heat

Well done, folks!1 And apologies, wenpen. : ) It just didn't resemble the chickweed I remembered from decades back.
It's certainly been a wet and boggy few months, so glad to know it'll die off naturally.

lol all good, I pick a lot of it for my tortoise to eat. I have it growing in the paddocks this year.
