Heat lamp in bathroom

2 annoyances - 1 heat lamp flickers on and off all the time and we've noticed the fan is getting louder and causes the metal casing to rattle quite a bit.

I give the heat lamp a tiny turn, either way, it comes back on again. then soon goes off again. The normal light used by itself provides barely any lighting so using the heatlamps is essential for lighting.

I'd call that more of an electrical timebomb than an annoyance. Loose connections=heat=fire. Hopefully you got the SDoc with it from Buntings so that you can satisfy your insurer at claim time.

I didn't install it lol. and we rent.
I do know that the entire house is RCD'ed though.

RCDs don't stop heat in loose connections though!
