Hair drier and fish slice and cake slice. Doesn't take long at all, and not much water to clean up if you pick the ice up as soon as it falls in the bottom of the freezer.

Same as post #2 I chuck all the hunks of ice out the sliding window beside the freezer. all done in no time.

I have heard that you can put your vacuum cleaner on blow and put the hose in the freezer. The air is warm. However modern vacuum cleaners don't seem to have that option. My freezer is frost free so I have never had to de-ice it since I bought it 18 years ago.

I just turn off power, leave lid open over night and then open drainage plug and bingo. Easy as.

I use a vacuum cleaner like that, an old Electrolux which I keep especially for that purpose.
