Sunflower seeds

Have I left it too late to start sunflower seedlings? If it is, can I store them until next year?

Far too late this season. Wrap them up in a brown paper bag and store them away from direct sunlight. Pot them up in late September onto a window sill, and plant out in November.

Thanks. I wasn't sure how to even store seeds. Im just a starter at this.

Are these seeds you have collected from your own plants. If so then you will find that there are probably plenty already in the soil and they will germinate all by themselves when the season is right.

No. I bought them off TM. As you can probably tell, I'm pretty new to this. I do find this message board very useful though. Lot's of sensible advice.

OK then follow poster #2 advice. They are not hard to grow.
