Standard Roses question please

Thinking of planting standard roses at the front of house, like a feature - thinking red/orange or yellow might be quite effective - I have always had Iceberg roses. Would appreciate suggestions of names of roses in effective colours - they need to be quite strong/hardly. A fragrance and picking roses, few prickles would be really lovely. Thank you for your input! much appreciated.

For yellow roses I have fallen in love with Absolutely Fabulous which is available as a standard. Saw it at Mona Vale gardens in CHCH -end of season, still looking so healthy. Gorgeous soft colour, perhaps reasonably similar to Graham Thomas colourwise

Have a look at Paddy Stephens - we planted a bed of 7 last year and the have proven to be excellent. People walking by often stopped to comment.
Excellent repeat flowering and well into the season. While he colour is slightly different to what you have mentioned - well worth the look
