Just looking at costs involved in painting a roof. Google is now my friend today, I have a 120m2 house 'L' shaped. Ive no idea how to calculate the amount of paint needed. Obviously the pitch of the roof would have to be taken into account? It is an iron roof in good condition, paint is is good nick apart from some lichen but it is a lovely orange colour and a change would be good ;)
Oh and what brands would your recommend

Any paint shop, Mitre10, Bunnings, etc, will calculate amount needed if you have the area sizes.

Resenes paint and use their specs, but around 30 litres as an estimate. Hire an airless sprayer for the best possible finish. Make sure you spray the whole roof thoroughly for moss and lichen. Water blast a couple of weeks later. If there are leadheads or twist shank nails, replace them with ten-screws.
