Plum stones

Hi,Had some beautiful red flesh plums the other day and am interested to find out if they can be grown from thes stone.Thanking you.maureen

Yes, but it will take ages and they are often better grafted.

Picked the first peaches of the season today, it's become a ritual since the tree first fruited four years ago. The tree is eight years old, and grown from a flatto peach stone. The peaches are small, sweet, and lovely. Like miniature golden queens.

Worth all the careful years of nurturing.

yes got 3 trees from plums i liked all had plums on after 2 years

I had 2 plums for the first time this year on a tree I grew from a stone, it took 8 years to happen.
