Yes, but it will take ages and they are often better grafted.

Picked the first peaches of the season today, it's become a ritual since the tree first fruited four years ago. The tree is eight years old, and grown from a flatto peach stone. The peaches are small, sweet, and lovely. Like miniature golden queens.
Worth all the careful years of nurturing.

yes got 3 trees from plums i liked all had plums on after 2 years

I had 2 plums for the first time this year on a tree I grew from a stone, it took 8 years to happen.
