Waterblasting lichen off roof and novalight

Is this possible? I know the best way is spray and leave for a few months but I want it off fast!

Used vinegar or boiling water - both worked.

Instantly? If so, thanks:)

Take a look at the marks below a hot water overflow before trying that.
Yes you can waterblast it, but it’s like lawn mowing grass and it will grow straight back. Be very careful doing it, both For safety and to avoid leaks.

In my experience and a lot of people i know if you dont have leaks before you will have after you waterblast

Hmm that sounds dire. Thanks for the warning-don;t want leaks!

golfdiver, Dec 1, 9:33pm
You haven’t said what sort of roof it is op?

sally63, Dec 1, 10:23pm
The main roof is iron and the verandah is novalight . Thanks GD

Now when you say, novolight, is it polycarbonate which is clear or tinted or is it topglass which is semi clear but with fibreglass fibres through it. If it’s topglass, and it’s old. It’s a waste of time trying to clean it. You will just rip it to bits.,

Gosh GD I really don;t know. It is milky and does not appear to have fibres through it.About 14 years old at a guess. In good condition - at the moment!
