Restoring ceiling insulation - "Batts" type.

A few years ago we got the ceiling insulation checked and new batts put in. Since then, for various reasons - roof leak, electrical work etc - some of the batts were hauled out of place and not put back. It's not by any means the whole ceiling, just isolated patches. I'm now on my own and no longer up to clambering about up there, and I'm not sure who I should call to come and sort them. Any suggestions?

I am sure this will be a home handy man job.
Must ask tho--why wern't batts put back?
Maybe batts are still there and just need replacing in position
Have you got heat retention prob?

Ensure that batts are dry before restoring.

local lions club members or similar group may be able to help; just had a cat door installed by man from local mens shed- no set charge but donation accepted- ask council for list of local service groups

Yes, When I get up into the hatch the Batts are still there, but they're all piled up any old how - and as I'm not a home handy man and too arthritic in the knees & back to be a home handy woman for that kind of job, I need a bit of help with it.
As to why they weren't put back in the first place . I'd like the answer to that one myself!
