Zucchini's/ Pumpkin & Beans still okay to sow seed

Wanting to know if it is still okay to sow some seeds of the above esp Pumpkins! For outdoors area wanting to plant them behind a shed and then forget them until harvesting time. Is it to late in the Christchurch area for this!
