I noticed every time I walked past the kitchen unit I would feel a cold draft. I had a look the other day and realised theres a slight gap up under the bottom where the oven section overhangs the toe-kick of the kitchen unit(I hope that makes sense). My question is, was this gap supposed to be there or can I just block it off to stop the draft.

There is supposed to be ventilation around the oven, which will be designed into the kitchen build.
But when whoever it was installed the kitchen, they didn't block off holes around the pipes through the floor or into the wall, and possibly where the floor meets the wall as well. So the draft is coming from under the floor or through the holes in the wall.

Thanks. Looks like i'll be getting under the house to block it off.
