5 metre Fig tree just fell on my carport

Trunk size 300mm diameter. There are a couple of tiny dents in the roofing, otherwise no damage. So it pays to have an architect and engineer designed garage!

Your tree or neighbors? Firewood for next year?

trade4us2, Aug 11, 2:03am
Yes it's my tree. Firewood for a steam engine, but it will have to dry out first, Maybe next year.

Sounds like an act of God. Everyone knows god hates figs.

trade4us2, Oct 28, 6:02am
I don't like figs that much, so I give away thousands. The birds like them, and that keeps the birds away from my grapes and mandarins.
