Acrylic showers - cleaning?

What do you use to keep shiny? Mine has gone quite dull - I bought some Doktor Power to try.

we have tiles so i dont know what you would use but you do have to be careful with acrylic

If the surface has dulled it is probably due to abrasive cleaners. The best you can do is rub car wax onto a cleaned surface. I have used shower power and non abrasive cloths for years and never had this problem

Shower power is great stuff.

I've never used abrasive cleaners so maybe its dull with buildup. Apparently not supposed to use citrus cleaner which is what I have used with the shower power type products. Bugger - hope I haven't ruined it. I mostly use enjo cloths but sometimes use the shower power.

try a magic sponge. no chemicals required

This was the sticker on my bath i put in a number of years back, made of the same stuff i would say.
I have and always used Shower Power, and the odd occasion around the top Exit Mould.

How do you think Handy Andy would go?

We use Vibrance - it is for acrylic showers.

jane310567, Jul 22, 10:19am
korban - vibrance is nearly $30 - is it magic? Would love to know what is in it!

korban, Jul 23, 4:52am
I pay $20, it lasts ages.

jill117, Jul 23, 4:56am
Magic sponge is great, but it is slightly abrasive. I have ruined a couple of things with it. I'm not sure I would use it on acrylic.

jane310567, Jul 23, 6:03am
korban - where do you get your vibrance?

korban, Jul 23, 6:39am
We got it from a shop that sells bathrooms, sadly they closed down. Plumb In was the shop name.

jane310567, Jul 24, 7:54am
got it from placemakers for $20! A bit excited about trying it - that's a bit sad isn't it!

Good to know placemakers sell it, I need a new bottle soon. Happy cleaning. lol
