Good compost.

Citrus fert. Also good for passionfruit, feijoa and currents.

Actually, grapevines are low nutrient plants and usually don't require any fertilisers. Applying high nitrogen fertilisers, like what citrus like, causes rampant leaf growth and poor fruiting. They like a very good draining calcium rich soil so add lime, lots of ground up eggshells and crushed seashells when planting. Some good quality compost is always beneficial to promote soil microflora. Cheers!

I was told by an expert ( he has been consultant to vineyards) that fertiliser will not get you good grapes,He also said that water should be sparing in order to force the vine to send its roots down
I never fertilise my grapes.

That's good news! - Cos one of my newer grapevines is surrounded by weed mat and fertilizing it would be difficult.
