We are going to paint our ceiling. We have crappy paint on there now. You just can't clean it, it's awful. Anyway I want a good easy washable one. Our bathroom has a awsome one that just mops of any dirt easy as. What's the best undercoat and paint to use, or is there a two in one? Thanks.

I always use semi gloss enamel - 2 coats with a roller. Stinks like hell, but lasts for ever and you can clean it regularly leaving no marks. Can't stand that acrylic garbage !

I would use a waterborne enamel, great result without the stink; for example:
The easiest washable paint is semi-gloss. Did the bathroom in it and it was so great I then painted lounge and dining and kitchen ceilings with it. Just a damp cloth and the fly poo wipes right off.
Never will I use matt ever again.
