We usually have a big paddock of pumpkins but this year they are just not growing. How are other peoples pumpkins going?

pumpkins tend to develop late in the season, packing on growth Feb March.
I have two plants going strong with only 3 smallish one's so far.Driving through Marshlands yesterday I saw some paddocks with heaps growing well.

I'm in the same vicinity as you, traykuku & any pumpkins formed on my plants are still small. I'm keeping the water up to them.

I really hate that price per kg for pumpkins. I just wanna know up front how much the thing is gonna cost me.

Sorry - not in Cantab, I'm in Kapiti, but. My pumpkin are doing ok. Some that developed early in the season are pretty huge now. Two that formed (got past the tennis ball size so I know they were pollinated) late have not made it - just started rotting on the vine. But those same vines each have at least two large ones going so all good. I've got a few of very recently pollinated ones (I think) going and hoping they'll make it. they're golf ball size so we'll see.
