hi we are looking at putting a new garage at our place as we are on a tight budget wanting to now of any cheap kitset garages to compare them with the likes of ideal ,versitle & skyline any help or suggestion's thanks

Neighbor had a new garage built by ideal, can't remember if it was a third or half the cost of the others

What bollocks. There would have been vastly different features in the quotes, If thats really the case. Quin garages on trade me will be about the cheapest you will find. Or there are plenty of second hand ones for sale. That's only if you are up to doing the pad and install yourself. I have done a versatile kitset this winter and saved around 5K on the fully built price. After power, consents and lining, its still running into the 20K area.

Getting pretty stupid with regulations & labour costings these days. I brought a s/h single car shed & erected it on a wider base & higher stud so that I had it at 4.2m x 6.4m x 3m high on the boundry with a gib firewall. Total cost including consents etc & a roller door but excluding a floor was around $1800.
