Fire is on wet back, had fire on most of the day. Hot water like a geyser coming out of pipe on the roof. Turned on hot tap in kitchen seems to have fixed its self - yay!

Hot water cylinder is boiling due to all the heat from the fire. So use hot water to cool cylinder down a bit. And switch off power to the cylinder element. As if you use alot of hot water quickly the element will still switch on. This is because the wetback heats top down. While the element heats bottom up.

Of course it is, the fire heats it up and vents out top like it should - so cylinder doesn't become a bomb. This is the problem with wetbacks, you just have to live with it.
