Hot Water Central Heating - Advice plumbers.

Wanting to install Wetback wood burner and recover any excess heat via wall mounted radiators. If anybody has spare time can they review this, and add to the drawing?

Cylinder is 300L S/S Double coil solar inputs, 3Kw electric element and thermo probes. Below is a diagram I drew for the basic concept. I need some advice how to implement this properly, I assume I need a pump and check valves.

Have you already purchased the cylinder, And what model is it? As there is alot to designing what you want. I could design such a system myself. Already have a similar system operating in my own house. That also has Solar and a spa pool connected to it. Would also need to know what the kW ratings of your coils are, and your radiators. There is already 1 very big mistake you have already made in your drawing. You need someone with specialist knowledge in central heating and boiler systems. As no training is done on such systems as part of a plumbing apprenticeship. So most plumbers won't know where to start to design such a system, let alone successfully diagnose and fix it if it doesn't work as expected. If they get it wrong you will have a very big bomb. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGWmONHipVo If you were based in Auckland I would be willing to get it all going for you. (Im a Plumber / Gasfitter myself) But travel time to Christchurch is a bit much for me.

Your diagram makes yours look like a closed system which is a recipe for disaster.

Of course the diagram is incomplete. I'll assume the youtube link is to something like the Myth Busters deal.
