Hi I was wondering if a daphine bush would grow ok in a garden pot.

If the pot is an adequate size it should be ok.Daphne would have to be the most temperamental plant so don't try transplanting it once it's happy.Plant it and leave it where it is.

I had mine in a pot and it did not do well once i planted it in the garden the leaves grew bigger and it looked a lot healther

Has to be a very large pot!This I know from much experience. I've just relocated a friends Daphne from her place to mine and it's doing just fine. Lot's of TLC and watering frequently.(she says as the rain commences for the day!)
