Our shrubs are covered in black powdery mildew and we have already lost 3.What can I use to get rid of it.

It will be sooty mould you need to spray an insecticide and combine with a spraying oil.

spay with neem oil. That will get rid of the sucking insects who are pooping on the leaves giving the sooty mould somewhere to grow.

I use soap powder mixed with warm water then tip it over the shubs I find it works well.
