I have a leaking flat roof with water ponding and am looking for a good basic waterproofing product to put on it. Anyone got any suggestions that work!
We had a garage with a flt roof that leaked and we poured hot tar over it then threw sand on it.

We also have a newer extention with a flat roof that pools water, and in extreme situations with heavy down pours; leaks at times. Wider channels to take the water away, and a larger down pipe will help, but its not a cheap fix. Otherwise follow reggienz advice.
but I have to order it direct from the USA, so could take a while.
Cheers Graham

Have you heard anything about the barrier! We are needing something, we have a flat part to our roof and nowhere for the water to go apart from drip, drip, drip. inside the house. It will cost an absolute fortune to get it fixed and in the meantime I would like a quick effective solution.

I called Placemakers and they quoted me $469 for a 15 litre tin - seems very expensive!

try costing framing the roof and then laying long run roofing. Will cost you, in the long term the problem is gone

Can anyone tell me if I can paint over Trafficguard on my garage roof! It is used as deck, is light grey but would like to change the colour. Thanks

Yep, any acrylic paint will be fine. Don't go too dark as it will get too hot to walk on in bare feet
