Or only seed? We have a well established 30 years old Miro on our property. I'd like to know whether I can make cuttings that may be successful. TIA

If the tree is well established, surely it is worth taking a cutting and trying it.

You'd need patience, apparently seeds or cuttings are slow to strike. Have you looked around for seedlings near the tree?
