Hardenbergia violacea frost damage

windwhistle, Jul 11, 2:49pm
I planted one of these at the start of the year and was growling quite nicely, flowers in bud to bloom soon. However with Christchurch’s severe frosts the other week, most of the buds have died and the plant is looking a little sad. Should I give it a wee prune now, or wait until Spring?

Cheers

best to leave the frost damaged bits as they will offer some protection from the rest of the frosts.
I would cover it, too. Give it a prune and a feed when the frosts are finished

I'd do what kateley has suggested
